Description

Ferro-silico-manganese (FeSiMn) is a ferroalloy used as a deoxidizer, desulfurizer, and alloying agent in the steelmaking process. FeSiMn granules are used in the blast furnace as a substitute for manganese ore and coke.

The granules are added to the furnace along with other materials, such as iron ore and coke, and they are melted and combined with the iron to produce steel. FeSiMn is particularly useful in the production of low-carbon steel, as it helps to reduce the carbon content and improve the steel's quality.
